I fail to see one out of line result as being symptomatic of a relevancy problem. I mean if the Avril Lavigne official and fan sites were not to be found for her name and we had a list of poster shops/music price shopping site instead, I'd see a problem.

Could you expand your thoughts?

When the top result is another band that has nothing to do with the artist that is a problem.

Also the official site was not scoring too highly either, but the whole key is why are they ranking some other unrelated document as the most relevant resource?

Maybe it's because Avril sucks and rips off Garbage's ogi-san oba-chan image. Pretty nice ranking for Garbage, especially since title is coming up incorrectly. Garbage was a pretty good band for a hobby project for a bunch of producers.

All those search terms will also yield garbage.com before Avril's official site. Which also I noted because I'm a web designer, but both sites have been created by the same web designer. Look at the style looks very similar. So then I pinged up both domains...
