May I Write a Post for Your Blog?
I am nearly complete with a couple big projects I was working on for the last couple months (site re-launch and another secret project), and wanted to try a fun viral blogging experiment. If you ever wanted to interview me, or wanted me to guest post for your blog now is your chance. You can choose the topic(s) and I will try my best to answer your interview questions or write a post for your site.
I only have four conditions
- your blog must have a non-default theme
- your blog must not be hosted on Wordpress.com, Typepad.com, or Blogger.com
- your blog must be at least 6 months old
- you must love publishing, marketing, SEO, and/or the Internet (or else) ;)
Comment below with your URL and the word "interview" or "guest post" and I will reply to the email associated with your account. First come first serve, and I am not sure how many of these I will do as it may get a little overwhelming if many people say yes. But it is all in the name of fun. :)

"Effective ways to protect your blog's search engine rankings."
Hell yes!
My blog is www.jaankanellis.com. You can reach me at jaan @ jaankanellis.com.
I was thinking a blog post about the recent PR Sculpting garbage would be a great guest post on JK.
Thanks for the consideration.
Yes please!
a guest post on SEO for web applications would be amazing.
I'm building 2 web applications...
one is geo focused - and will have several incarnations (multiple geodomains) - I'll happily tell you more about it.
The other is focused on a particular vertical - conferences and exhibitions.

Ah, its times like this that I wish I had an active blog.
... wait, does a modded default theme count? ;)

Hi Aaron,
An interview would be great:

Cheers,

Aaron,
Would love to have a fireside chat discussing some of the directions you think Google might go with their health related products.

Hey Aaron,
I have been trying to get some of the "A-list" bloggers like yourself to do some podcasts interviews, or guest blogging.
When I read your post I literary jumped of my chair and almost hurt myself :-) I couldn't believe that there is a chance that the great Aaron Wall could be on my blog or even write about it.
Me and my blog meet all your conditions and even more, I recently have a team of bloggers/designers/SEO professionals working with me, and we are doing a huge update for my blog including a great new theme that have no CSS or XHTML errors that is also 200% SEO'ed.
It should take us less than 10 days from now to get it done with, and I would love to have you guest post on my blog.
Our blog is at: http://www.GuruOfSales.com and it's mostly about social networking/media/marketing and online marketing and eBay education. I have personally learned a lot from you through out the years and would love to learn a bit of what you thinks of my blog.
Hope to talk to you soon.
Regards,
Alex.
Damn it. Can't you play guitar? ;)
No guitar skills here, though I did get my wife a traditional Spanish one recently ;)
Hi Aaron, a guest post in my http://charts.jorgecamoes.com would be great.
I write about information management, so an interesting topic how you structure your research for a new project (what patterns do you follow? How do you select your data sources? How do you evaluate the data?, etc).
This is crazy.
Would you mind to write a guest post on practical SEO topics for niche blogs (other than seo, technology, internet, blog about blog and money making) like football blog, boardriding blog, music blog or even seo for prank blog? I have plenty of blogs you can choose.
However, whomever gets Aaron's post, congrats!
Our blog is http://www.alledia.com/blog/
We mainly talk about SEO for Content Management Systems, so I hope you don't mind if the questions skew that way:
1) You chose Drupal for your new site. Why did you feel this was a better choice than alternatives such as Wordpress and Joomla?
2) What modules did you find useful for getting your site to work they way wanted?
3) Now the site has been live for a while, do you think you've made the right choice? Are there things that Drupal could still do better out-of-the-box?
4) If a customer or training member, who values SEO highly, asked you whether they should use a Content Management System, what advice would you give them?
Hello Aaron,
This idea is great.
May I generalize: How about everyone here write a post to each other blogs?
If you like to write friendly post to Lifetime Scope Journal( LSJ) send me mail ristopaarni@gmail.com
and vice versa.
Lets blog again, (like we did last summer)..
Hi Aaron
My blog is social-media-optimization.com.
I was thinking a blog post about how to use SEO to squeeze out negative brand references from the SERPS
Thanks for the consideration.
David
Hi Aaron, I'm so disappointed! I use WordPress. But I'm also doing a series of interviews with the top SEOs, and I'd really like to interview you. My URL is http://www.blog.marketmou.com
I requested this a few months ago - glad to see you're able to follow through now. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the migration to Drupal.
Two choices for where it would be posted - either http://growingventuresolutions.com or http://knaddison.com - pick your favorite theme ;)
Aaron,
Wow! How cool would it be to send a few quick questions your way about pay per click advertising and be able to have you guest post your answers on our blog at http://www.semvironment.com/blog ?!?
semvironment was formerly known as Apollo SEM - you might remember us for our blog's NUDE series post on AdWords/Analytics detailed keyword data...
Thanks for the opportunity! I hope you make it this far down in the comments - lol.
To your continued success,
James
Aaron,
Guest Post, my blog is http://kevintunis.com.
Hi Aaron. I'd be interested in a guest post on vtseo.com regarding local seo.
Dan
Hi Aaron,
I would love for you to do a post on my blog about the best ways to get more traffic to a blog.
Most of my readers are in the beginning stages of blogging and using web 2.0
http://NetworkMarketingRules.com
Thank you so much for the offer. You are awesome!!
~Roxanne Green~
Hi Aaron, thanks for the great offer. I'd love to have you put together a piece or answer a few Q&A about two particular topics I've been looking at. My blog focuses on issues specifically to eCommerce merchants, and many of the SEO issues we cover revolve around how it might apply specifically to an online retailer. The two topics in particular I'd love for you to shed some light on is:
(1) Social Shopping sites and how or if they provide any SEO value (Kaboodle, Wists, StyleHive, etc.) and if you see them as a long term strategy or a short term fad
(2) Other SEO issues inherit to eCommerce catalogs specifically. Not about SEOing a blog, but about what issues eCommerce merchants should pay attention to, with copy, pagination, keyword cannibalization across similar pages, etc.
The blog is located at http://www.BlueAcorn.com/blog and we're just starting our new initiatives for more frequent articles and increasing exposure so this would be great timing for those efforts as well as a method for you to gain exposure to a market of mostly do-it-yourself retailers that may find your book/tools/training valuable. Thanks!
Aaron,
I'd like to interview you about the future of searchable and permanently traceable mp3's and audio files.

Hi Aaron, your offer finally forced me to subscribe -- I couldn't resist the opportunity to interview you or even feature a guest post. I hope to make the cut!
Talk about an example of the return on seo investment greater than the cost for a ecommerce site.
Fraser.
Aaron, love your blog and all your tools (and that's all the sucking up I'm gonna do!).
If you really want a stretch from all the other SEO sites waving their hand at you right now then you've got to come and check out my GARDENING blog! Ya, ha. I said GARDENING. Interested?
I would love to have you write a post on my blog - and the topic...okay, it won't be too hard. How about "What would you do now to help my social site - blotanical.com - appeal to more than just garden bloggers?"
It can't be that hard, can it?
Thanks for the initiative, would appreciate a guest a post on your blog Aaron.
Here's our blog: http://www.searchengineoptimizationcompany.ca/seoblog/
Sometimes aim for SERPs, sometimes a little sales letter for SERPs, sometimes general news or social media.
Would appreciate this opportunity!!!
ANY Topic =))) I personally incline to marketing, site architecture, but can write about a topic of your choice.
Thanks.

Hi Aaron,
We'd love for you to do a guest post or an interview on http://www.virtualmarketingblog.com
Our blog covers all topics related to internet marketing.
Luke
Would love a guest post or even a "mutual post" on the subject of country specific SEO.
http://www.redflymarketing.com/blog/
Amazing when a blog can go from paying for a content post and getting one for free, and a quality post at that. Good job, nice requirements, not out of line at all. Scott
Count us in.

Hey Aaron, I'd love to interview you, and not for anything about specifc SEO stuff (there's enough of this speculative garbage all over the 'net).
Rather, I would interview you on how internet marketing IS marketing nowadays - my blog is targeted towards the music industry and many in it just don't get a lot of the concepts that I throw at 'em - having someone else there to back it up would, ahem, "rock".
Yo Aaron, dog...man, what a deal. Would love to interview you at Performancing.
Here's my thought on the topic: how will linkbuilding and seo change as the semantic web approaches. and will seo's need to radically adjust their mindsets, slightly modify, or continue on as if nothing's changed?
I'd be interested in either a guest post or interview regardling long tail search and conversion quality.

I run an online marketing magazine, focused on educating the newly developing industry of online marketing in Pakistan. Some starting the basics type post for the magazine and the target market would be great and highly appreciated.

Hi Aaron
My URL is www.bhatt.id.au/blog/ . The site is several years old, my own design, on my own domain and is one of the most popular blogs in Australia
I'd love it if you could write some tips about "effective SEO / site promotion in competitive markets like travel blogging" especially in relation to my other site www.roadlesstravelled.com.au
You would get the same privileges as other people who have written guest posts on my sites:
* Allowed to link to your own site within the post a few times with no "nofollow" used
* At bottom of post: 1 paragraph description of yourself and your site (www.seobook.com) with your logo and 1 link with no "nofollow" used
thanks
Neerav
I'd live to interview you for my italian SEO blog (http://blog.tagliaerbe.com): question & answer in english... and then i'll translate all in italian :-)
Guest Post to: Diot's SEO Strategies
Subject: Local Search and the metrics that effect your rankings in Google Maps, Yahoo Local, and Live Maps (MSN) and the increasing importance of these rankings with the integration of maps into SERP results.
You're a much better writer than me and it would be an honor to have you post on my blog.
Thanks
Jim McNelis
I'd love to ask you five questions by email on SEO for small business blogging.
http://blogfiesta.mariah.com
My blog could really use a lift from a quality contributor like yourself:
http://www.quityourdayjob.com/blog/
I'll up the ante and feature your article in my newsletter as well.
I would love to talk about link building and web 2.0.
Best,
Jeremy
Hey Aaron,
I'd love to pick your brain regarding SEO on eCommerce sites. Specifically, regarding the challenges unique to sites offering a wide variety of "long-tail" products.
Thanks for the offer, and great idea!

I think a guest post/interview would be a great idea. I have several question on SEO/SEM for non-profits. Who better to ask!
Thanks for the offer!

Hey Aaron,
My domain's reg'd since august 2006 (though SEO for Firefox shows 2003, because someone else had it first) and I've been blogging there since about that time, though I relaunched last fall with a custom theme.
I love marketing, SEO etc and am often writing about those topics. To a large extent, you've taught me to think like that (as opposed to strictly looking at seo tactics i.e. content, linkbuilding etc.) and I think your guest-post would fit really nicely there as a consequence.

Cheers

Hey Aaron;
Great linkbait idea - for you and your readers.
I'd love to know your thoughts:
Are expired domains with PageRank a good SEO investment vs. just a new domain?
