We updated SEO for Firefox again. The Yahoo! childnodes error is fixed, and we added BOTW directory listings to the stats we pull in to SEO for Firefox.

Hasn't been working for me. I'm using FF 2.0.0.11, anyone else having this problem?

Aaron,

I downloaded the tool and was bummed out at first because it did not return any data. I realized that I had to manually choose what I want displayed which is cool because it makes the tool run faster. You offer a lot of options. I only turn on 6 of them.

This version performs much better than the one you released in late 2006. That was a turtle :)

I'm a retard, thanks giovanna for mentioning that. I didn't realize I had to edit the options now :-)

Aaron,

Thanks for the update. I use this tool almost everyday. I wonder if there is a way to localize some of it? For example, since I am based in Japan it would be great to see how many links from the .ac.jp domain, which is for Japanese universities. Do you think I can hack your tool for this or would you be interested producing a version for Japanese webmasters?

Thanks,

Jeff

Hi Jeff
I think if you know how to edit extensions it is easy to do. I may add more countries to it down the road, but that would be part of a future update.

Happens every time I do a search via Google. I'll have to uninstall it unless somebody knows what the problem is.

Sorry I should have read the SeoQuake site properly before I installed it;

ATTENTION! Frequent use of big amount of parameters may lead to the ban from SE"

'Ban from Google very quickly' would be more fitting.

That is why SEO for Firefox is user customizable and has most variables set to on demand by default.
