View the Presentation From My Speech at Blogworld Expo
This is was a document about how optimizing a blog is largely a game of competing for attention, with tips on how to win attention and marketshare.
BTW, I am going to WebmasterWorld Las Vegas Pubcon next month. I think I am speaking on two or three different panels.

Thanks for the presentation although I can't see that yet... I get the message: "Your browser's cookie functionality is turned off. Please turn it on" and my cookies are on... Maybe it is only my browser... I will check it later.
Just one thing Aaron,
Can you make all the links in the presentation to be clickable?
It's time consuming for me to manually write all the links I want to see in Notepad and then paste it in Firefox...
Just hoping ;)
I will fix that when I get home Abdul
This is great. Wish I could have made it to the Expo.
Thanks for posting. Very very useful insight and references.
I'll see you at pubcon buddy; after you finish the Munger book, look into the autobiography of Vicente Fox...pretty good.
Random thought...instead of holding a conference in a casino or a convention hall, I'd love to see one held in a giant library. I'd probably make it to more of those given my version of "partying" is a bottle of wine and a couple of books.
Aaron, I'm sorry I missed your session. Would love to catch up tomorrow to interview you for our blog on video. As usual, your content is solid. Thanks for posting it to your site.
Hi Cygnus
See you soon.
Hi Simon
I am flying home in about an hour. Sorry we missed.
High Aaron,
Nice presentation, relevant and concise.
I have one question: I don't know what you mean exactly by no ads above your content. Does it mean above the fold, in a top horizontal menu? Or do you mean relative importance vs. content?
Thanks.
Hi Mario
Some webmasters align AdSense ads top and to the left, and wrap the content around and below it. It is hard to gain traction and steal attention from market leaders when a site is easily dismissed as a made for AdSense site right out of the gate.
Posted a link to this nice presentation from my blog. I appreciate your great tips, keep em coming.
First: Very nice presentation.
What do you use to post it here? (this is no slideshare, no?)
This presentation is hosted on Google Docs.
FYI for folks giving PPT presentations in the future. This is a decent summary of useful PPT tips:

I actually like Aaron's 1st slide. Simple and to the point!
