Can you give an example of "In many markets the top ranked site is determined by popular opinion OUTSIDE their niche market."
I can imagine it being true, but I'm having trouble applying it to me. I'm thinking of starting a toy store focused on a product niche that I like and think I can get targeted traffic to cost-effectively. As I try to apply what you're saying to my potential venture, how would I figure out who sets the market?
The toy manufacturer?
The broadcaster of the TV show?
Someone else?

People who care about child developement and/or education come to mind.
The alimentation sector may also be a good possibility for you Greg.

Yes,sometimes i got to post something outside my blog focusing about to regain my visitors back.Perhaps,i would get a proper target audience.
