SEO Tool Updates
I recently updated a number of my SEO tools, and a few other people recently launched some interesting new search engine marketing tools.
- Google changed their SERPs so I updated SEO for Firefox.
- My keyword research tool was endlessly looping when Overture failed. A friend helped me update it to stop doing that. :)
- All major search engines came together to support an open xml sitemaps standard.
- on SEM2.0 a PPC keyword research tool named Key Compete was mentioned. It shows you keywords competitors are bidding on by URL, and can be used for keyword ideas for arbitrage plays or authoritative content sites. You know if people are bidding on the keywords that there are going to be relevant ads. If you track your earnings and outbound ad clicks (if you do not want to buy a script for that use the free script here) then when you find an overpriced outbound click you can go buy the keyword list for that advertiser and start cranking out bids or content based on exploiting a great keyword basket or an idiot advertiser. As technology gets cheaper and people keep getting better at packaging highly relevant affordable market research the only thing that will prevent you from becoming commoditized is your brand.

How did you fix the overture problem? I have a simple keyword tool on my site that uses overture results and i want to kill myself sometimes because of all of overture problems.
look at the source code linked to from the tool itself.
For some reason the tool stopped working for me about 2 weeks ago. I didn't realize how much I couldn't live without it until then.I get a little stressed when I rely so heavily on something. While I know I can get the info form individual sources, your tool is a tine saving god send. The new version resolved all the problems. Thank you.

Guess what? I am addicted to such tools. And I love making and using THEM all the time. Like last night I wasn't feeling VERY sleepy so I got up and made this BL checker tool in almost an hour.

Hey,
I have few ideas for FF SEO extension.
1. it would be nice if my site doesn't rank anywhere and i do a search 'atlanta search engine optimization', i could add 11th site to the SE result set, so it would show where I stand in comparison to others.
2. add a table under the result set, so results are in the table - easier to analize
3. you might be doing this already, but if not...
do some caching. If I do a search for 'atlanta seo', 5 times a day, results would be cached rather that pulled everytime.

Also, why would it show In Anchor 0, In Title 0, but In Both 5800?

Ah, thanks for the Firefox SEO tool and Keyword Research update. I was wondering why FF was locking up during kw research, and noticed the infinite loop problem. Not shortly after the SEO tool for FF stopped working for google, so I was starting to freak out :o

ive noticed with the seo for firefox, that the YAHOO links when you reload the results it varies greatly. It will say 100 then like 500 the next time and back down, so i dont know how accurate to base my research on since it varies so much. why does it do this
