New Flash Detection Script
At WMW Boston Mike Nott pointed me at FlashObject, which is a Javascript Flash detection and embed script.
It is XHTML compliant and allows you to use flash detection and is probably the best way to do SEO for a flash site. A couple old related posts:

I'm not sure how "new" this script is, i've known of it for a year now, but it is great nonetheless.
It is new in that it is rarely discussed in SEO circles. Ie: the typical canned answer for Flash stuff in SEO forums and at SEO conferences has yet to include this, as far as I am aware of.

It is not that they don't like flash, it is that flash does not give them much content to index.
Not only is it good for SEO, but it also fixes the problems caused by the Newly released IE patch...
