Cheap Blog Spamming Script, Blog Spam Comment Submission Software, & Lists of Spamable Blogs
So those who blogspam usually keep their tools to themselves or their friends because there is so much $$$$$$ in it.
Evidentally some sites have decided to sell scripts...
This site has one for only $115, but when you click on the link their merchant partner ShareIt says the item does not exist.
This site has one for $300, which is the same price as a paid submission to the Yahoo! Directory, but it can probably help you get many many many more links. ;)
Lots of quality features, including:
- Autosubmit to unlimited sites
- Use browser simulate system for anonymous Your requests
- Use random proxies
- Use random User agents
- Use random Referer sites
- Log file for requests
- Save bad urls
- Save successful submited urls
- Check the proxies
- Save bad proxies
- URL extractor extracts URLs for specific terms with most popular search engines using fast technology - the 1000 URLs You can extract up to 20 seconds.
They also sell 3 lists of 10,000 blogs each at $100 a pop. A friend of mine who is a big time blog spammer stated that the crawl was the hardest part of blog spamming.
Now I do not know a lot about blog spam other than I delete lots of the shit. I have not tried out the blogspam tool as using it is negative 1000 karma points, but if you give it a try please let me know what you think of it.
I also think there are many valuable techniques to the art of effective blog spam. Some people probably are better at getting their spam to stick than others are. Its all about relevancy and providing useful content. hehehe :)
[update: A mate of mine has slightly better in house software but said that this second piece of software is solid spam framework. Again, I have not tried it though.]

This is in very bad taste. Blog spam is terrible and you seem to be promoting it to some extent. "Hey, give it a try and let me know what you think" (wink wink)
Are those affiliate links on blackhatseo.com? (keyword gold card?)
I agree. Blog Spamming is not the best thing to do. But what should you do when you are a honest SEO that follows the guides and rules, but your results get dumped by scammers that use blog and forum spam?
If you can't beat them join them!! I don't like the idea but I have no option.
Quit crying! All of the top dogs including Google spam is some way. Keep promoting product like that. While everyone here spend years and all their money on trying to receive high search engine rankings, us "spammers" will be sitting pretty nice if you know what I mean.
Aaron, you did the right thing and all these idiots saying "I won't buy your book!" are just a bunch of daisy picking no problem having morons. The problem exists and you brought it to light. What's next, some stuck up rich person will get offended when we tell their kid that the world don't revolve around them? You people need to get off your high-horse and get into reality! Oh no, somebody posted a link {boo hoo}. You should see some of the things I post. Keep it real.
I don't condone blog spam or any spam for that matter, but lets get back to the real world people. Ignorance is not bliss, and id the competition are using stuff like this, I like to know as much about it as possible including strengths, weaknesses, and capabilities so I can match it using better practice techniques.
Fair play Aaron - tell it how it is!
You guys are all just newbies - to be open to suggestion is the possibility of future innovation --> poor bloggers remain poor bloggers because likely most of you don't even know simple SEO techniques.
P.S. Lighten up and who cares if you don't come to this site again or recommend this book? You are worthless and garbage. Become more open to external influences and you become enlightened without resorting to the negative parts of the internet such as comment spam software.
I really you got to jail and get raped in the ass ron you filthy spammer piece of shit.
Its a shame that this;-
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/07/26/russian_spammer_killed/
is illegal.
I'm a little surprised that you are promoting, dare I say endorsing, these sort of techniques. I can understand offering insight into the practice of it and discussing it as it relates to the SEO industry. There is nothing wrong with keeping your finger on the pulse of what's happening out there, good or bad, but providing links to the software and making it seem like it's a viable way to market sites is just plain disappointing to say the least.
>making it seem like it's a viable way to market sites is just plain disappointing to say the least.
I said that it is negative karma points, and that I do not do it. I also do not recommend blog spamming if you care about brand or are creating a long term site.
Simply pointing to and providing pertinant information. Its not for everyone. Its not for most people. But whatever it is worth it is there.
I am really floored that a respected SEO would have links to blog spam scripts being sold. I don't care if you say you don't support or endorse but if you have links to a place selling blog spam software you are part of the problem.
something strange about this post, just too much detailed info is provided - my guess is Aaron not selling enuf of his book (follow the money folks!)
crikey lighten up, This was always going to happen and pretending it doesnt exist doesnt prevent the problem. At least you can see how the software would work and try and come up with ways to combat.
No scripts needed - with just Firefox, a list of proxies and a bit of javascript you can build an automated submitter no problems. It's just the list of urls that takes a bit of work to get.
I tend to disagree. It all comes down to providing information and not providing links would give less credibility to the article. Not that I endorse Blog Spam but writing about it doesn't make one part of the problem. If that were true I would write only about positive things.
>> if you have links to a place selling blog spam software you are part of the problem.
Yes...because some people will try it, which will increase the blog spam.
This is one of the most shocking posts I've read on a blog in a long time. You may qualify you link by saying its bad karma points but you also express interest about it and ask people for feedback after pointing people to it. Seems like you're sending some mixed messages.
I detest comment spam as a blogger trying to make an honest living from blogging. Spam has the potential to cripple sites and destroy the quality of Search engine results. I can't believe you'd be linking to this and doubt I'll be coming back to your blog or recommending your SEO book to any more people. This is poor form Aaron - I'm surprised you've done this and am really disappointed that you've gone this route.
>something strange about this post, just too much detailed info is provided - my guess is Aaron not selling enuf of his book (follow the money folks!)
sales are again near all time highs. This month has about a 50/50 chance of beating out last month for my best month ever.
>pretending it doesnt exist doesnt prevent the problem.
as is the completely lame NoFollow solution. The point of the post is to show just how cheap the technology is available.
>It all comes down to providing information and not providing links would give less credibility to the article. Not that I endorse Blog Spam but writing about it doesn't make one part of the problem.
Exactly. Imagine that I did not post the details. The first comments would be how do you know about this and what scripts are you talking about.
>No scripts needed - with just Firefox, a list of proxies and a bit of javascript you can build an automated submitter no problems. It's just the list of urls that takes a bit of work to get.
see, some people do not even need to spend the $300. thus knowing how cheap and easy it is to use (and how widespread the problem ALREADY IS), why are there no serious solutions that stop the problem?
>Yes...because some people will try it, which will increase the blog spam.
lets presume a few additional people will try it. will that significantly change your spam load. probably not. This post is just pointing out how bad the problem is and how cheaply accessible the software is.
Keep in mind that I do not know the owner of that software and I run many blogs. Some are purely non profit. I delete a ton of comment spam myself.
>I detest comment spam as a blogger trying to make an honest living from blogging.
as do I.
>Spam has the potential to cripple sites and destroy the quality of Search engine results.
yes. hosting or writing content spam, blog comment spamming, link spamming, whatever has the ability to lower the quality of search results. many blog posts about nothing have the ability to decrease the quality of search resuts too - and perhaps with some of my posts I am just as guilty as the next guy.
Some search engines fund much of the clutter with programs such as AdSense (read - they make money off the spam too).
I did not get paid to mention this software. Believe it or not Google is advertising this software in their contextual ad program. What is that?
>I can't believe you'd be linking to this and doubt I'll be coming back to your blog or recommending your SEO book to any more people. This is poor form Aaron - I'm surprised you've done this and am really disappointed that you've gone this route.
Sorry to disappoint you. I can't live in a rosey field every day. Lots of what happens on the web sucks, but for me to not provide information and FOR ME TO IGNORE IT is ME BEING PART OF THE PROBLEM.
to be honest Aaron I think you could have achieved your purpose of highlighting the problem and how cheap it is in a more effective way and without seeing to be so open to the idea of it.
Yes you vaguely say you're against spam in your original post with the karma comment - but at the same time your overall tone seems quite open to the idea if people want to do it.
'I also think there are many valuable techniques to the art of effective blog spam.'
I agree with you that Adsense and the SEs have to take some responsibility but so do we all to condemn it and work towards it being limited. I what I felt in reading your post was that you could have highlighted the issue without seeming to endorse it (indirectly) by the tone of your post.
Self,
make a note to NOT buy this book or bookmark this site.
Actually, it's randfish. I just thought I'd be clever. I think it's an important issue to talk about and keeping it in the dark like so many in the "white-hat" world is actually doing spammers a favor - bloggers are all about transparency, no reason to make an exception for this. Thanks, Aaron.
Blog spam is the quickest way of getting your domains blacklisted. And forget about burying your domains in free pages. A good spam fighter will dig them out and get them blacklisted too.
>Self,
make a note to NOT buy this book or bookmark this site.
talk about comment spam. this guy is leaving notes to himself on my website.
>Blog spam is the quickest way of getting your domains blacklisted.
there are probably a few that are a bit quicker.
>And forget about burying your domains in free pages. A good spam fighter will dig them out and get them blacklisted too.
but by the time they are reported money will have already been made and new pages will have been entered into the production line.
why not address fixing the errors in the software designs instead of fighting the outcome of the poor software implementation.
granted, we all need to have a sense of purpose, but why not solve problems instead of symptoms?
"this second piece of software is solid spam framework" - What does that mean? Is that good or bad?
By the way, your comment box is ridiculously small.
And to Spamhuntress: Blacklisted where? On lists that blogs maintain? I can't see where else because no search engine is going to penalize you for links. If that were the case blogging your competitors links would be practiced more often in an attempt to ruin their business.
SpamHuntress so if I go spam your blog using a proxy and leave my competitors URL will you go ahead and do all the work and get them blacklisted for me? Thanks ever so much for helping me out, nothing better than getting someone else to do my work for me.
>"this second piece of software is solid spam framework" - What does that mean? Is that good or bad?
my friend liked it. I have not tried it.
>By the way, your comment box is ridiculously small.
will make it bigger.
thanks for stopping by GG
Watch out for Universal Energy Corporation, they are real scammers
Spam, Blogspam, SEO BlackHat and other things are part of the game called SEO and Aaron posted only a short review of products, he won`t use. I'm 100% whitehat, but I found this post, because I wanted to find a way getting rid of Blog spammers. Now I have one Software Tool, its features and mor information and maybe i can kill some more spam comments..-thanks Aaron!
Blog spam is terrible - stay away...
Bunch of hypocritical nimwits. Probably the same people that go to church and say how great God is and sing his praise and then go home and suck on their partner's moomoo. Your type make me sick. This guy is writing an article for information. Get off your Internet High horses. If information like this were not made available, we wouldn't be aware of it. Get a freakin grip...jeeezz
Wow, there are a lot of self righteous people here who also like being poor people.
You must all really love your 9 till 5 jobs.
I really pity you.
Wow! Seems like a lot of upset people over perhaps just a difference in viewpoint or opinion.
Aaron, I would tend to agree with most that some of the wording in your original post weighs more towards the promotional versus the unbiased or non-promotional side.
But, I think discussing things that work isn't a bad thing - Whether reciprocal linking, link baiting, or blog spamming scripts.
Also, I think in many cases these days that in order for a seasoned Internet marketing person to truly understand SE algorithms in more delth, that he/she must sometimes even use or test these tools for themselves.
How else would you stay ahead of the curve??
Hey, if I buy blog spam software and leave links to a site that I am not the owner of knowing it may hurt them and definitely open them up to bloggers ire, is that against the law?
Don't make more spam. I hate it.
Hi Cranky
there are many shady things people can do to hurt others businesses on the web. It sorta sucks how many different ways there are.
The best bet is to be nice to people and have people like you so that hopefully they will not want to screw with you.
well....after all these replies....tell me:
where can I find this damned script? LOL
Well allow a long time spammer as myself give you a honest perspective. I have reviewed most of the blog spammers out there and they are all crapola!
Blog spam use to be effective up to about 2005. These days it's more work then it's worth. Blog spammers bank on abandon blogs or amateur blogs that do not know how to protect themselves from comment and trackback spam.
btw, sorry spam huntress, but spammers are not worried about you or other spam hunters reporting them or publishing their real identity.
Any way as a long time spammer (1995), I have to say that these days spamming blogs is more work then it's worth. You can see better results, and longer lasting results, with get this, LESS WORK, by using typical white methods. We have Google to thank for this! You see, quantity is no longer as important as it use to be. Now quality aged sites bring in more value, and the best approach to them is wh or gh.
All a blogger has to do to eliminate almost all spam is use Akismet AND Hashcash together! Case closed. No comment spam, and no pesky trackback spam.
What I'm seeing happening over the last couple of years is that it is no longer easier or faster using BH methods. These days using wh and gh is a lot faster and easier then bh! I have always advocated using wh in addition to whatever else you may be doing and keep your wh stuff seperate from your bh. Falls mostly on deaf ears, and gives spam hunters something to brag about. The real heavy hitters are untouchable, but rest assured these days they are working over time trying to keep up with WHer's! Ironic since it was the ease, and speed that originally attracted folks to the darkside :)
Don't waste your money on blog spammers! 2 years ago they worked pretty good, these days they all suck, and not worth a dime or nickle. Instead learn how to game social sites, that's where the action is these days ;)
btw nice work Aaron.

Blog spam is the quickest way of getting your domains blacklisted
I've created a php based comment spammer with support for:
1) Databasing blogs (I've currently got 200K blogs in my list)
2) Multiple IPS (get around those pesky 15 seconds between comments)
3) Ability to post comments on "About Me" section of a blog
4) Multi-threaded for faster processing.
5) Randomly generated names
6) Pre-designed comments, support for as many different comments as you want. I'm currently using quotes as they seem to get through the best and my list contains around 1500 different quotes.
7) Comes with yahoo/google scraper. You can scrape upwards of 500K-1M blogs in a week.
It works pretty well, I had a few people write articles about my "revolutionary new comment spam techniques". Found those amusing. If you're interested in this (not sure what it would go for, just made it for personal use) email me tsenseless06 [at] yahoo dot com
Aaron,
Thank you for posting the good the bad and the ugly of SEO. As a longtime addict of your blog, I want to learn about everything in the cyberworld to help my business. That doesn't mean I will necessarily choose to use everything - only that I want the information to make my own choices.
Thank you, Aaron, for fearlessly writing about all aspects of SEO and for teaching me so much!
