Why Many People Buy Shitty SEO Services
This is kinda like a rant article, but why not, right? ...
I got a call yesterday from a guy who was making good profit spending $10,000 per month on AdWords ads. In spite of seeing this value in search he could not fathom the concept of spending even a few thousand dollars on SEO.
Eventually he will probably buy some sleezy package deal that does nothing for him. Then he will complain about how all SEOs are scumbags because he did not get $100,000 worth of marketing for $200.
Many SEO customers have unreal expectations or try to rip off SEOs far more frequently than the other way around, and that is exactly Why Many People Buy Shitty SEO Services.

Nice article, just about nailed that client type, it seems they are in the majority too.
His loss.
Feel free to email me the product details. :)
Wonderful article. I have seen the same thing. Many companies easily spend 10K a day on adwords. But don't want to pay a good SEO more then 2-3K a month.
Most that approach me are through email. Also they usually are affiliate systems that have multiple domains (different product/services or memberships).
I had to change the way I presented proposals to them. They usually get 4-5. The first is the most expensive, they win by not having to pay me a percentage. I build on their system. They own everything I make and do. Usually this fee is 40% of what I think I can make them a month.
The last is percentage base, but still has a flat fee. This almost always looks better to them. But this way, I build everything on my own servers. I keep ownership of everything I do.
The last one also usually makes me more money then if they paid the larger flat fee. They really do lose, but they are to cheap to realize it.
You should do what I do Aaron. When I ever I get someone like that I just steal their idea and make a their site but keep it for yourself.
If want you can email them later and offer to sell them the site at some absurdly high price.
Pay the most once, cry once. Buy cheap, cry forever.
